Staff
The offices of the department staff are located in the main building situated at Vasagatan 1/Lilla Bergsgatan 6 with the reception in the E-buildning on 5th floor. There is also an annex situated at the School's inner yard with offices for PhD candidates.
There are more than 100 people working in the department and about 40 of those are PhD candidates working towards a licentiate and/or a PhD exam.
From the beginning of 2013, there will be thirteen full-time professors, seven visiting professors, one adjunct professor and two professors emeritus/emerita working in the department. At present there are also seven associate professors ("docent") as well as a number of lecturers and research fellows in action.
The teaching and research staff are continously supplemented by Swedish and international visitors, who are invited to participate in department activities for longer or shorter periods (see under "Visitors in the department").
