The research is directed to statistical inference and aims to be of direct use in economics, medicine, social science, science, management and industry. Examples of specific statistical areas are: Statistical surveillanceand, Regression analysis with qualitative shape restrictions, Multiple Inference, and Spatial analysis.
The unit has recently coordinated research within the field of Financial Surveillance, resulting in a major anthology.
